Getting here for those bluebird powder days sometimes involves driving in the storm that is dropping fresh powder. Before you leave home check the road conditions:

Always carry tire chains, gloves, protective clothing, a flashlight, water, food, and a sleeping bag or blanket. Allow plenty of time for your journey.

Mammoth Mountain Ski Area:
With more than 3,500 acres of skiable terrain, Mammoth Mountain offers enjoyable skiing and boarding for the complete novice and the seasoned expert. Mammoth Mountain has one of the largest acreage of groomed trails anywhere, yet plenty of ungroomed slopes for those who live for “freshies”.

June Mountain Ski Area:
June Mountain, located 20 minutes north of Mammoth, offers skiers and boarders terrain parks, well groomed trails and fun tree skiing on it’s 500 uncrowded acres.

Tamarack Cross-country Ski Center:
During the winter months the roads of the Lake Mary Basin become the well maintained trail system of the Tamarack Cross-country Ski Center.
