The Course
The 18-hole par 70 course challenges any skill level. When booking your tee time on the course’s website, make sure to check the course layout and tips for playing each hole. There are four sets of tee boxes so you can challenge yourself appropriately.

Make sure you budget the time as well as the money to get yourself on the course. Rise nearly with the sun for a 7 AM tee time to beat the crowd. Less expensive twilight rates begin at 1 PM. For those with a jam-packed schedule without a lot of time for a leisurely 18 holes, the course offers a five-hole round starting after 5 PM at a discounted rate – watching the California sun sink below the mountains is free! Sierra Star Golf welcomes duffers of all ages and skill levels. Kids 12 and under play free with a paying adult after 3 PM. Ask about other passes and deals for non-locals to get the best deals.

Celebrate the end of a great round or grab some fuel between the front and back nine. The Chip Shot Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and happy hour to keep you full and energized for your round. Take your meal inside or sit on the patio overlooking the 18th hole. Stop by The Divot, located between holes 9 and 10 – hours vary so check with the pro shop before making plans to grab a bite. Every golfer loves the beverage cart! Watch for it from 10 AM-5 PM and grab a drink or snack.
